BP Batam recently received an award for its infrastructure development focus from Bisnis Indonesia, a nationwide famous and leading newspaper covering dynamics of Indonesia’s economic activities, not only public sectors but also, and especially, private sectors as well as public corporations. Titled Special Award for Innovative Infrastructure Development Approach for Regional Economic Growth, the award was presented during Bisnis Indonesia Award (BIA) 2022 event at Ritz-Carlton Hotel, Jakarta, Monday (15/08/2022).

Besides the regularly awarded category of ISE-listed public companies, this year’s BIA also presents Special Swards to companies and organizations chosen by Bisnis Indonesia’s board of editors. In his welcome remarks, President Commissioner of Bisnis Indonesia Group, Hariyadi Sukamdani, ensures that both types of awards value credibility and integrity, with chosen winners and nominees based on rigorous parameters and criteria.

Also speaking at the opening of the Award-giving event are two other key figures besides President Commissioner of Bisnis Indonesia Group, Hariyadi Sukamdani: Republic of Indonesia’s Minister of Industry, Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita; and Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs, Airlangga Hartarto. The three speakers agree on Bisnis Indonesia newspaper’s role in Indonesian Economy as top media to navigate Indonesian economic atmosphere.
